1910's Virgin Medallion Hand Painted Limoges Enamel by G. Legendre w Chain - All 18 K. Gold & Pearls

Medallion, hand painted miniature on porcelain and enameled in an 18 Carat Solid Gold frame surrounded by fine Pearls, with 18 Carat Gold chain and fine pearls.

This pendant is signed at the the back by G. Legendre who is a very well known Limoges painter on enamel who produced the nicest Limoges enamel miniatures in the period 1890 to 1915

Pristine condition, excellent state and beautiful design. It is a rare item by the fineness of its work and the high relief enamel. Also beautiful and rarely seen Frame.

May be worn immediately.

Weight of the medal is 2.72 grams with a diameter of 2.5 cm ( 1 inch).
Weight of the chain is 2.20 grams and it has a lenghth of 50 cm - 20 in.
Total weight all 18K : 4.92 grams

The chain is included in this sale together with the medallion. It is an 18 Carat Gold chain with fine pearls suiting the medaillon.
